Transmitter Engineer Gives Duct Tape “Thumbs Down” For Color Coding
Scott Dorsey, an independent broadcast engineer from Williamsburg VA wirtes in RWonline.com, the web site for Radio World, that duct tape is not the appropriate solution for color coding electrical cables in electrical panels.
Dorsey recommends that his fellow engineers choose gaffers tape instead, since it is less prone to leave adhesive residue, even when it gets hot.
