New Masking System For Aero Manufacturing Could Save Millions

Instead of having to use heavy (and expensive) aluminum tape for protecting parts during production, the aerospace industry is implementing a new tape product from BAE that could save millions of dollars.

This new product is made from lightweight vinyl, not aluminum, and it has an adhesive that doesn’t leave any residue.
