Duct Tape Heads For Mars
Last weekend’s launch of NASA’s latest Mars rover included couldn’t have happened without duct tape.
Dunmore Corp., makes a special tape created to insulate the wiring inside the rover vehicle Curiosity which left Florida for Mars on Saturday.
The tape has special electrical insulating characteristics that keep electrical currents from interfering with other on board systems.
