duct tape from thetapeworks.comAn eight year long program to burn chemical weapons at an Alabama army depot has ended, leaving 70,000 unused emergency shelters and supply kits ready to be surplussed.

The kits were assembled to provide safety support in the event that there were problems with the weapons burn that impacted the surrounding community.

The kits included plastic sheeting and duct tape intended to be used to tape up residents’ windows if something had gone wrong.

Now the kits, unused, are either being recycled or used for other purposes by the residents who stored them.
