We’re Not Sure About This, But It Is Impressive

There is something about duct tape that leads to the compilation of lots of “facts” about this ubiquitous product. In the day of fake news, it is easy to put forth something as “fact”, particularly when it is impossible to actually confirm.

Somebody (anybody? everybody?) claims that the amount of duct tape sold each year is enough to stretch 1.2 times to the moon.

Upon further examination, it appears that the web page where we got this information in turn got it from another site that publishes random duct tape facts.

So much for verification. We’ll publish it anyway.
